INA’s response to the spread of COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) Novel Coronavirus infections in Japan

With the health safety and security of all stakeholders including employees and customers as our top priority, Ina Research (INA) has been implementing measures based on guidance received from government authorities in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) infections.
COVID-19 is the most urgent social concern in the world. However, comparing with European countries and US or China, the COVID-19 infection overshoot has not appeared in Japan as of today (March 25, 2020). Needless to say, we are never off our guard and protection to maintain all contracted studies in operation and all future studies.

Animal Rooms:
We, INA has highly advanced technologies such as One-by-One Animal Room System to avoid the cross contamination. Moreover, INA’s air handling system has unique air purification function using artificial water cyclone (air sanitation) system. In addition to this, we began to build up the new facility to increase our capacity.
Offices:
All offices, INA Tokyo office and Pathology Satellite Laboratory (Tokyo) are operating normally. Some of the staff members telecommute a few days a week, but all business transactions are normal.
Events and customer-related activities:
Due to the closure or shortening of operating hours of event facilities where INA planned to participate, we are rescheduling our activities and starting CONTACTLESS events such as webinar/motion picture distribution or peer-to-peer communication.
